Hyundai

Hyundai is a South Korean car manufacturer and the largest of its kind in the country. It began in 1947 as a construction firm and it was not until 1967 that the Hyundai Motor Company was officially formed. It is also not a well-known fact that Hyundai is currently partnered with Kia while Lexus is the luxury subsidiary of the firm itself. Hyundai vehicles began to become popular in the United States during the 1990s and they have enjoyed a sizeable presence since this time. Much like other Asian firms, Hyundai is now entering into the world of energy-efficient cars such as electric units and hybrid vehicles.

What Defines a Hyundai?

Hyundai is primarily known as a provider of economical and family-friendly cars to its consumer base. This same principle applies to their line of SUVs that are currently on the market. While cost-friendly units, some of their high-end models are known for their inclusion of luxurious amenities such as spacious interiors and a host of creature comforts. Hyundai tends to appeal to the conservative driver as well as younger generations due to its amenable pricing range.
